2008
Birth of EDEN, founded by 6 Rhône-Alpes entrepreneurs with the support of the CCI Lyon and the DGA, to bring together defense SMEs.
2010
First collective participation in international trade fairs, with joint pavilions giving global visibility to French SMEs.
2016
Structuring of the network into five territorial hubs, led by vice-presidents and regional delegates for local governance.
2021
Official creation of the EDEN South region, marking the cluster's anchoring in the Mediterranean aeronautical and naval ecosystems.
2022
Creation of the EDEN East region, consolidating the cluster's presence at the heart of the European space and cross-border cooperation.
2023
Creation of the EDEN Grand Ouest and EDEN Île-de-France regions, strengthening the cluster's influence on new industrial basins.
2025
Symbolic passing of the milestone of 200 member companies, confirming EDEN as the leading French network of defense SMEs for export.
